Progress at Alpine Mountain Ranch
They have been hard at work putting in new roads and infrastructure at Alpine Mountain Ranch the past few weeks. Both Alpine Mountain Ranch and Marabou Ranch, Steamboat's newest Land Preservation Subdivisions have been making good progress on their basic infrastructure this summer with Marabou getting an earlier start.
Alpine Mountain Ranch could be composed of up to 62 5 acre lots on the 1,200 acres ranch leaving 900 acres of open space in it's natural state or agricultural use. It is located below the Priest Creek portion of the ski are in Steamboat Springs. The topography of the site allows them to tuck the homes just below ridgelines to minimize their impact and maximize views.
I have toured the property a few times and the views of the Flat Tops, valley and ski mountain from many of the lots is stunning given the elevation and location of those homesites. Check out the story in the Steamboat Pilot here
